Kentucky Fire Cured – New!

Hickory, maple and oak are the woods that are burned at the base of the curing barns where all natural tobacco leaf is hung to dry. This two hundred year old process takes place once the midrib (centre vein of leaf) is dried and ready to be maximized to its full taste potential. These rustic wooden barns dot the rural landscape where Kentucky Fire Cured cigars are born. They are sold in 2 sizes: 6×52 “Just a Friend” and 5×56 “Fat Molly”.

Nica Rustica – New!

Nica Rustica is a medium to full strength cigar that is blended to showcase native Nicaraguan tobaccos from Esteli and Jalapa. Aficionados will enjoy this rustic smoke that is robust and deeply satisfying. Genuine Connecticut Broadleaf encases Nica Rustica and imparts a subtle natural tobacco sweetness and spice. Nica Rustica El Brujito is sold as a 6×52 size.

Tabac Especial Negra – New!

Drew Estate has taken the art of blending coffee and cigars to new heights. Slowly infusing rich tobaccos with the finest Fair Trade harvest coffees from the fertile mountains of Nicaragua, we have created a smoking experience that is pure tobacco velvet upon the palate with the perfect nuance of luscious espresso.

Tabak Especial Negra is a dark maduro broadleaf and is available in 2 sizes: 5×54 Robusto and 5×54 Belicoso.

New Cigar Arrival: Alec Bradley Fine & Rare Returns as a Parejo for 2018 at all 3 locations of Nottingham Cigars & Pipes in Edmonton Area.

Right in time for Christmas as a nice Stocking Stuffer.

Quoting Alain Rubin, Fine & Rare is an ever evolving project. It is a concept more than a cigar. Fine & Rare has been seen in many different formats since the project began. I play with different tobaccos and different crop years to create this 10 leaf masterpiece. I always need to let the blend dictate the size and shape of Fine & Rare in any given year. For 2018, Alec Bradley is proud to present 2500 boxes of the second iteration of Fine & Rare JRS10 = (86).

Since 2011, the company has released small quantities of its most complicated cigar blend, rolled in different shapes with Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos from various regions and crop years. This year, Fine & Rare returns to cigar shops in a form called JRS10 = (86), a size that first appeared in 2015.

JRS10 = (86) measures 6 1/2 inches by 56 ring gauge. This year, the company is calling the size Gran Toro. The parejo is made with a Honduran wrapper from Trojes draped over a double binder from Nicaragua and Honduras, with a variety of Nicaraguan and Honduran filler tobaccos.
Alec Bradley Fine & Rare is rolled at the Raices Cubanas Factory in Danlí, Honduras.

The cigar, ships in eye-catching boxes that hold 10 cigars and are designed to look like zebra wood. Only 2,500 boxes were released.

“Fine & Rare is an ever-evolving project,” Alec Bradley brand owner Alan Rubin said. “It is a concept more than a cigar. Fine & Rare has been a double figurado, it has been a torpedo and a parejo.”

Habanos Specialist, Nottingham Cigars & Pipes have received a small shipment of Bolívar Soberano (54 ring gauge x 140 mm long). This is one of Edicion Limitada for 2018 and is presented in a special case of 10 cigars. Soberano is the first launch of the “Duke” vitola de galera, which is totally unprecedented in the brand’s portfolio. This is a strong Habano , allowing the cigar lover to enjoy a balanced and aromatic blend from the brand in a totally novel format.
Habanos Limited Editions are greatly appreciated and cigar enthusiasts await their arrival with great anticipation every year. They are characterized by the fact that their vitolas are not found in the brand’s regular portfolio and they are distinguished by the careful selection of all of the leaves – capa , tripa and capote (wrapper, filler and binder) – which have been aged for a period of not less than 2 years.
